MasterChef at the Dean Court

A brand new event is taking place at the Dean Court in February 2018. Chris Hale, MasterChef quarter-finalist is bringing his Pop-Up Restaurant to the Hotel with a unique four-course menu. You can also enjoy a refreshing glass of Prosecco and Canapes on arrival. It will be a chance to meet Chris and talk to him about his experiences on MasterChef and how his life has changed since his TV appearance. The Dinner will take place on Friday 2nd February 2018 at 7.30pm for 8pm and the cost will be £45pp.

Chris is now bringing his innovative dishes to the general public, through ‘Pop Up North’, which he has set up to provide 'pop up' restaurants across the UK, catering for events internationally and also creating unique private dining experiences for people in their own homes. We are delighted that he has chosen to bring his pop-up restaurant to the Dean Court Hotel.


Chris on MasterChef with John Torode and Greg Wallace

Born in Carlisle and now residing in Yorkshire, using locally sourced quality British produce which is very important to him, as he elevates these humble ingredients into great, mouth-watering dishes.  He made a splash by appearing in national newspapers with his innovative cooking from Indian sushi to chocolate soil. Since then he has been refining his skills working with Michelin star chefs in Cannes, London & Scotland.

Chris has also been appointed Executive Chef of The Award Winning Hepworth Museum.
