Perhaps the saddest change for us to announce is that when we do re-open on Friday 4th September we will not be opening our restaurant to serve lunch and dinner from our a la carte menus, there will be a light menu available throughout the day and breakfast will still be served but with a few changes implemented. With our enviable location there are of course many restaurants within walking distance, and we will be working closely with them so we can share their information with our guests.
We will still be able to offer conferences and some private parties such as afternoon teas and funeral teas and we still welcome enquiries of this nature subject to government guidelines.
It is our hope that we can return to offering our rosette standard food and quality dining experience in the future as well as hosting private parties for those special occasions for which we have become so well known for, but in the interest of adhering to social distancing and tackling the many other challenges that this pandemic has brought to us all then these are the changes that we are introducing for when we re-open.
D.C.H the restaurant has York Minster itself as a backdrop.
No other hotel in York can rival the Dean Court for its setting.
