The proximity to York Minster was great! We enjoyed kedgeree and eggs Benedict, much nicer than the full English.I met Wayne Sleep at reception and Sir Derek Jacobi in the lift!

- We welcome - and encourage guests staying in the hotel, to make table reservations in advance of their stay for D.C.H especially if on dinner-inclusive tariffs. The hotel cannot otherwise guarantee a table at guests' ideal time.
- We request that mobile phones remain switched off in D.C.H and that consideration is given to other guests when using a mobile phone in The Court and other areas.
- Vegetarian dishes feature on all menus. A separate Children's Menu is also always available, as is a good range of dishes and foods suitable for Coeliac/Gluten-free diets - and other limited diets
