Thank you for considering us as the venue for your private party. We recommend the host organiser reads the following advice prior to making a confirmed reservation.
Please firstly telephone to check the appropriate private room (or part of the main restaurant) is available.
You are welcome to make a provisional booking, by phone, call us now on 01904 625082.
It needs to be confirmed in writing or by email with an initial deposit within 7 days. This deposit is non-refundable
At this stage we require only approximate numbers. It is appreciated if you keep the hotel informed should your provisional numbers vary significantly at any time leading up to the date of the event. (Final minimum numbers are required 48 hours in advance).
- 13 to 20 guests – £100.00 deposit
- 20 to 30 guests – £175.00 deposit
- 30 to 50 guests – £200.00 deposit
- 50 plus guests – £250.00 deposit
Should you decide to offer your guests a limited choice from the menus, PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING
For parties of 13 – 30 guests
Please pre-select a MAXIMUM OF TWO DISHES for each course – along with a vegetarian option if required.
For parties of 31-70 guests
Please pre-select just ONE DISH for each course – along with a vegetarian option if required.
As soon as you have pre-selected the dishes (from which your guests will choose), PLEASE INFORM THE HOTEL.
The number of portions of each dish must be given to us at least 10 days in advance, after which final confirmation will be sent to
you – along with a request for pre-payment of all food, wine, drinks and ‘extras’ that you have requested
For parties of fewer than 13
The Host/Organiser is welcome to choose a no-choice set menu from these Menu Selections.
A 15% supplement is applicable
Choose from the current Restaurant (D.C.H) menu.
A pre-ordered selection can be made of course by circulating the menu in advance to the guests.

Remember to inform us as soon as possible if your numbers change significantly
We normally require parties to have a minimum 3 courses in the evenings and on weekend lunchtimes.
Should you wish to have a four course menu, all first courses are available as intermediate courses at the same price
