The majestic BEST WESTERN PLUS Dean Court Hotel York is the obvious choice for those looking for a top quality hotel in York city centre, standing as it does, directly opposite the Minster in Duncombe Place.
Easily accessible from the M1, A1(M), A19 and A64, it is just half a mile from York railway station (or 10 minutes walk). Unlike many hotels near York Minster, it has its own a very secure locked compound - private car park, just moments from the hotel with a free valet parking service. (Car park charges are £13.50 per night to a maximum of £45 ). There is no need to reserve car park spaces
On arrival, guests are advised to park outside the main entrance (double park if necessary) and register immediately. Rooms are available from 2pm, but the hotel is happy for you to arrive as early as you wish, leaving your car and luggage whilst you explore the surrounding area until your room is ready. Checkout time is 11am- but again, luggage can be stored and your car left with us as long as you wish - at no extra cost.
