Facilities in The Dean Court Hotel currently include:
Ramped Entrance. Due to our location and the age of the historic building, our ramped entrance requires our staff to assist you. The ramp is a portable one and is steeper than the ideal gradient. Our staff are very willing to help. Once inside there is level easy access to all public areas, (The Bar, D.C.H - the restaurant, The Court Cafe-Bistro, Lounges)
*Bedrooms
Bedroom Number 31 (Small Double) for those with hearing difficulties. Hearing loop for amplified TV sound etc. Vibrator alarm..Loudspeaker telephone/visual alert. Directly opposite Lift.
Bedroom Number 20 (Double or Twin) for guests who need to remain in a wheelchair. Fully equipped bathroom with Wet Room, spacious bedroom with non- caster wheel bed, accesible light controls. Directly opposite Lift.
Bedroom Number 55 (Double) for Ambulent Disabled guests. Walk-in shower cubicle, spacious room just 15/20 paces from Lift.
Braille signage throughout the public areas

Low-level Reception Desk for convenience of wheelchair-bound guests' when registering

To enable us to offer a personal service to all our guests, may we ask guests wishing to make use of any of these facilities, or any other services we offer, to advise us of their needs when making reservations.
*Please request lift access in all communications, as there are 4 rooms accessible by stairs only
In the event of a fire or other emergency, trained staff will assist all guests who would experience difficulties in evacuating the hotel speedily.
