Here's what's happening in the coming months

York International Shakespeare Festival 

The York International Shakespeare Festival is a new cultural venture. It is a partnership between York Theatre Royal, University of York and Parrabbola with a range of productions and reinterpretations of Shakespeare. It includes two productions on the main stage at Theatre Royal. For more information please look here 

Eboracum Roman Festival 

Last years festival was so successful that the Romans are returning to York between 1st and 4th June 2017. All details and events can be seen here 

Great Yorkshire Fringe

The Great Yorkshire Fringe combines comedy, variety and family entertainment in the heart of the city from 21st July until 13th August. Check out the programme for 2017 here 

York Food and Drink Festival

York Food and Drink Festival are having a 'taster' event in June this year and the main event as usual takes place in September. Have a look at the actual dates and events  here

Christmas Markets

York's Christmas Markets are on from 16th November until 22nd December. Exact details are unavaible at present but keep looking at the VisitYork website for updates
