FACILITIES FOR FAMILIES AT THE DEAN COURT (As featured in New York Times May 2007- click here)

Along with several Family Rooms the Dean Court is delighted to offer the following services to parents.
Should you require anything else please tell us when making your reservation. We will do our utmost to make the necessary arrangements in readiness for your arrival. Full instructions are in the Room Information Folder.

Qualified Nannies: Can be engaged on your behalf. Price guide:£10 per hour

Cots and Extra beds: It is essential to inform the hotel at the time of making your room reservation. Several rooms can accommodate an extra bed and/or *cot. (We regret that our Superior and de Luxe Rooms are unsuitable for cots and /or extra beds)

*Helpful Hint: You may prefer to bring your baby's own bedding. In our experience this provides a feeling of security for your child, and will hopefully ensure a peaceful night for you too!

Disposables: Please ask for extra large plastic bags for used nappies. Tied or sealed bags will be removed by a member of staff on request.

Toy Box: A variety of toys and games are available for the very young. For older children we have Chess, Draughts, Scrabble, Monopoly and Jigsaw Puzzles.

CD/DVD in all roomsFamily rooms for 4 have PS2 facility . The hotel has a good-sized DVD library .A £25 returnable deposit for each DVD is automatically charged to your Room account. To ensure this is refunded please return goods to the Reception in person.

NB The Hotel's television system offers 30 channels including BBC NEWS24, Cbeebies, CBBC Channel, E4, BBC3 and more.

Food and Drink: Both D.C.H - the Restaurant, and The Court - our Cafe- Bistro, offer a range of dishes suitable for children of all ages. The Court is open until 11pm each day (last food orders 10pm) (Closes 6.30pm-Sundays). D.C.H-the Restaurant, is open for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner. Highchairs are available on request. Our Chefs will cook almost anything for youngsters and babies on request. (Restricted Menu after 10pm)

Room Service: Both D.C.H and The Court menus are available, in full, during their respective opening times. Details of these and other Room Service menus and times are in every room.

Buggies and Pushchairs: For your convenience these can be stored at the Reception Desk and are on hand at a moment's notice. Forgotten Items: Should you have forgotten any essentials, the hotel has various items such as a changing mat, childrens' crockery and cutlery all of which is washed and sanitised after each use.
